The Marlin 38 1878 Pocket Revolver.
This model is different than its predecessors in that it features
a steel frame and flat bottom butt, with hard rubber monogram
grips. spur trigger, and the 3.25" ribbed round barrel which is tipped up for loading. chambered for
the .38 S&W centerfire cartridge. Quite a rare model with only 9,000 manufactured between 1878 and 1887.
